Your photos should show the furniture and nothing else. No rude, scary or grown-up content of any kind. Check what's in the background before you take the picture!
Never post phone numbers, home addresses, emails, or bank details — not your own and definitely not somebody else's. Talk to other members through messages on this website, using their nickname. That way nobody's private information is ever left out in the open.
Be honest. Don't take someone's money or furniture and give nothing back, don't lie about what you're trading, and never ask anyone for gift cards or secret payments. If a deal feels strange, it probably is — report it.
Every photo must be a real, unedited picture of the actual item you are trading, taken by you. No editing out scratches, no changing the colour, and never a picture copied from the internet or a shop. People are trading based on your photo — it has to be the truth.
📍 Meeting up: say exactly where you'll be. Always meet somewhere public — never at anyone's home. And if it's a big place, a name alone isn't enough: a mall or an airport is enormous, and you could both be standing in it and never find each other. Name the exact spot, like “By the Gong Cha in Westfarms Mall, CT” or “Gate A east wing at Bradley Airport, CT”.
What happens if someone breaks a rule? Rude words in messages are automatically turned into ######. Anything else can be reported, and an official who looks after this website will review it. Members who break these rules can have their listings removed or their account closed.
